Legal Research and Brief Writing

QLW offers legal research and brief writing to attorneys in most courts and practice areas. If you are in a time crunch and need help with pre-trial motions, an appellate brief, or just a memorandum for the file, call or email to see if we can help. We assume that when an attorney needs research done it needs to be done quickly and it needs to be thorough. All research and writing will be done by a former attorney with over ten years’ experience as a trial and appellate lawyer.

Services that we have provided for attorneys include:

  • Research on specific issues such as Fourth Amendment violations, Miranda violations, admissibility of evidence, liability, damages, or any issue that is critical to your case.
  • Issue spotting in difficult or complex cases based on transcripts, incident reports, witness statements, or other relevant documents. A comprehensive memorandum will be provided detailing what the potential issues are, how they might be raised, and whether we believe that a motion will be successful based on our research and the information that has been provided.
  • Written motions and briefs at the pre-trial, trial, and appellate levels.
  • Initial review and research to determine if a potential client has a viable personal injury claim and what the range of potential damages may be before you decide to accept a case.
